1969 Dodge Charger 'General Lee'
This car was built for a customer in Michigan on a very tight budget. The customer already had a Supercar Trans Am replica, with parts from BK Automotive. He was ready for something new, Like a 1969 General Lee replica. Here are photos the customer sent of the 1969 charger he found on EBAY. |

The car arrived in worse shape than expected, but we quickly moved it into body work to start making repairs.
The bodywork is underway. Here portions of the car are primed and guidecoated for smoothing. This customers budget does not allow for everything to be perfect, so we are focusing on the areas that need the most work right now. |
The car was primed in sections and then blocked and reprimed for paint. |
The decals were applied over the basecoat and cleared over as per the customers request. I dont recommend doing this, it can cause problems in the long run, but he was specific about this feature. |

Not being able to afford all of the work he requested, the car was resold to a customer in Louisiana, who was able to have the car finished by us. Here are the final photos. A close up of the paint, I love this color. |

Finally finished. But before it goes to its new home, we got a call requesting the use of a General Lee replica for the evening.... So here is the car getting loaded up for an evening with an all-girls sorority at the University of Houston. 30 girls all dressed as Daisy Duke? Yes, it was a fun as it sounds. And sorry, but I cant put those photos on here,.. kids might visit this site..... And below, finished photos. |

Final service before pickup.

And here is the car being picked up and prepared for its trip home. The customer was nice enough to send us a photo about a year later he took of his daughter in the car. I am glad we were able to help him get something he could enjoy. |
